Be sure to listen up for Andrew’s song “Shine On” (co-written with Ryan Cabrera). The song will be featured as pop star Ryan Cabrera’s first single on his second record set to be released in the fall. “Shine On” will also be the theme song for the new MTV series called
Score, set to be released in September. Andrew also has five other co-writes on Ryan’s album.

Ryan Preps for His New Album
Although Ryan has been busy working on his new television show for MTV, Score, he has made some time to shoot a new video for his first single off his new album (set to be released some time this fall). While you wait for the video and album to be released, head on over to the media section of the site and listen to Ryan’s newly released song entitled “Shine On”, which has recently been confirmed to be the first single off the new album, in the jukebox now!

MTV’S Score Tapes With Audience Beginning in Two Weeks
Hosted by pop star Ryan Cabrera, “Score” is an exciting new series from MTV Networks that combines songwriting, music performance and dating into one show. With help from Ryan and his band, each episode will feature two aspiring musicians facing off against each other by creating and performing an original song in order to impress a potential date. Not just a dating show, “Score” is the ultimate showcase for emerging songwriters, musicians, and singers to present their talent to millions of MTV viewers. With guitars in tow and only a day to write the song, the contestants rock out with Ryan and his band, singing their hearts out to a live audience at the Avalon in Hollywood. After the performance, the potential dates chooses which song they liked best purely on music. They never get to see the contestants until after they’ve made their decision. The winning songwriter and their date are then rewarded with a dream date to an incredible destination!

AIDS Project Los Angeles
AIDS Project Los Angeles will host its 20th Summer Party on the New York City Streets set of Paramount Studios on July 23, 2005. A Los Angeles institution, Summer Party will feature live musical performances by Ryan Cabrera, Shiloh, the L.A. Ramblers and Tommy the UK Cowboy.
Guests can ride a gigantic Ferris wheel sponsored by the Abbey Food and Bar, then hit the two full-sized dance floors, an outdoor casino and an expanded silent auction, including United Airlines tickets to New York, Paris and Hawaii. For the second year, top party promoter DJ Tom Whitman will present the “Summer Nights” T-Dance. A variety of food buffets and fully stocked cash bars will be available throughout the night.
One lucky winner will claim a 2005 Ford Mustang black-on-black convertible from Midway Ford. Mustang raffle tickets are $100; all proceeds benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles. Entry forms, contest rules and regulations and additional information are available at

The VIP lounge, sponsored by Showtime adjacent to the set of its upcoming “Barbershop” series, will open at 6 p.m., an hour before general admission.
