"True" opens up the week at #4

Tour will resume tomorrow in PA

Ryan recently posted on his message board letting the fans know that the tour will resume tomorrow in PA. Read his message below.

"well, its been two years since i’ve had to cancel a show but the time came!! i am really sorry to everyone who was gonna attend the birmingham and dewey beach shows! i was bed ridden for the two days and am still recovering right now - i won’t go into detail as to what was happening cause its just gross, but i couldn’t breathe and stuff was comin out of my mouth that i had never seen before!!!! it was narsty but i am gettin better and will start up again tommorow in pittson/scranton, PA!!! thanks to everyone who was prayin for me!! and as always, YOU GALS AND PALS AND DUDES all rule my world so thank you!!

Dewey Beach show cancelled

Unfortunately Ryan’s show for tonight at the Bay Center in Dewey Beach, DE has been cancelled due to Ryan being sick. Stay tuned for any new information on any plans of rescheduling the show. As of right now, the remaining shows for the tour are still scheduled to go on.

Ryan makes a name for himself

Ryan Cabrera may be better known as Ashlee Simpson’s ex-boyfriend, but now he’s making a name for himself.

His major label debut album, “Take It All Away,” has sold more than 320,000 copies so far, and its first single, “On the Way Down,” hit No. 8 on the Billboard chart. After opening for Jewel and Jessica Simpson and performing on college campuses, Cabrera just kicked off his first headlining tour.

But it was hard work — not connections — that brought the 22-year-old singer this far.

He first picked up a guitar at age 15 and spent the next few years teaching himself to play chords and simple tunes. He formed a band with some buddies — Cabrera got roped into singing — and played gigs around the Dallas area for a few years. He went to college but dropped out after a year to devote himself to music, knowing his voice needed work. Read on...

And the November tour begins

Ryan kicks off his November headlining tour in Columbus, Ohio tonight at the Newport Music Hall.

Also, just announced... Ryan is scheduled to play a show at Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ for Hollister Co.’s Lounge 22 at 8:00 AM on November 26th.
